Happy news for all YouTubers!!! Youtube finally introduced a solution to the biggest problem of the youtube content creators for a long time. Youtube introduced Copyright match tool for the user. Youtube Copyright Match Tool will help the youtube content creators to find the re-uploaded videos of their original videos. The new youtube copyright match tool is only available for the YouTubers who have more than 1 lack subscribers.

Working of Youtube Copyright Match Tool

When a YouTuber uploads a new video on youtube, it will automatically scan all the videos that uploaded after him. If they found any similar videos of that they will report it to the YouTuber. You can only access this feature only if you are the first person uploads the video on youtube publicly. Youtube uses the upload time to understand the copyright issues. If any matched videos identify by youtube on their search, YouTubers can review it in their youtube creator studio and they can take the actions against the copyrighted content.



How to use Youtube Copyright Match Tool

If you have more than 100000 subscribers, you can access the tool. To access youtube Copyright Match Tool select copyright section from the right side navigation menu of youtube studio. Check the matches tab in this section to view any matched content found as similar to your content.

Youtube allows you to take three actions against the video channel who upload your video. That is:
1. Achieve: Move the matched video to your achieve without taking any actions against it.
2. Message: Message to the channel who re-uploaded your video, to remove it from their channel.
3. Removal Request: Removal request option is available in youtube in two types.
a. Scheduled: give a seven day period to the channel to remove your video from their channel. If they didn’t remove it from their channel youtube will take down the video and the channel may get a copyright strike.
b. Standard: This is the fast removal option. In this method the content creator requesting directly to youtube to remove the video from the re-uploaded channel. Youtube will remove the video and the uploaded channel may get a copyright strike.
