Facebook Started Testing Augmented Reality Ads on News Feed in the U.S
Facebook started testing augmented reality ads on its news feed for the users in the United States. The new feature helps the advertisers to give augmented reality ads for the customers.
Facebook says that the famous brands like Bobbi Brown, Sephora, Wayfair, and pottery barn will start to test the new feature in the summer season. The new feature is only available for the advertisers in united states.
The new feature let users experience the products virtually, like wearing sunglasses or visualizing furniture products in a room. Facebook already tested their Virtual reality ad feature for messenger bots for business, and they say that the brand like Asus and KIA got more engagements from users who tried this feature. Facebook is also planning to integrate this VR ads with Instagram stories globally.
