Youtube Incognito mode is now available for android users
Youtube launched a new youtube incognito mode update for Android users which allows them to use youtube in incognito mode or private browsing mode. Private browsing or incognito mode helps users to hide their browsing history from others.
Private browsing also helps users to avoid the video recommendations from youtube. Opening youtube in a private browser will also help the users to hide their watch history and avoid video recommendations. But this update from youtube makes it easier to use this private browsing feature.
Youtube started testing the incognito mode on the app on may, 2018. After the successful testing of the app, the youtube incognito mode feature is now available in the updated version of youtube for android users.
How to use youtube incognito mode?
Open the newly updated youtube app on your android device. Tap on your account button on the top right of your screen. Select ‘Turn On Incognito’ from the pop-up. Incognito mode is now active on your app. When the private browsing mode is active, the icon on the top right corner of your screen will change to the incognito logo.
If you want to go back to normal mode, just tap again on the top right icon and select ‘Turn of Incognito’ from the pop-up.
